As a young girl, Miriam was the daughter of slaves. Her life as the oldest child in the family will teach us about having faith in the midst of frightening times and facing these circumstances with courage and boldness.

Abigail is an obscure woman tucked away in the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel. Though she is only mentioned briefly in the Bible, her character leaves an impression on you.
She was a woman of integrity who did the right thing when she could have stood by and let David kill her husband.
She showed great courage when it would have been easier to do nothing out of fear.
She was a woman of strength who stood before a future king and spoke with confidence.
She had wisdom and understanding that culminated in advice that changed the mind of an angry man and saved lives, and she trust God with things that were out of her control.
She was a woman that you will come to respect, as well as someone you will want to emulate as you get to know this fascinating woman.
She was so much more than "just Nabal's wife"
So, come along with me as we get to know this woman named Abigail.
